The Infamous Chart / Index to this Site
This is the Chart as it was published within my The
Digital Port column in 73 Magazine for about five years.
One big advantage for the viewer/user is you can click
directly on the web address displayed. This naturally reduces entry
error and frustration.
Now, with the new format of this
website, you can also use the Chart as an index to find articles
within this website that were previously published and/or updated for
your use.
How to use the Index
Example, on
line # 6 you can click in the far left of the left column and you
will be taken to a review of the TrueTTY software. (Note: This
feature works on lines 1, 2, 3, 6, 8 and 17 at this time - Another
work-in-progress.) If you wish to visit the DXSoft (TrueTTY) site on
the Internet for further information and/or download, simply click on
the web URL in the right column.

Note 1: There are some new
developments on this website. To make the story short, the files for
SSTV-PAL as used with the MMSSTV software are available for download
toward the bottom of the list that you view on this site. The top
files for SSTV-PAL+(plus) are very new creations and an excellent
approach to communicating with SSTV, but they were released since
the article was written. All worth a try, but wanted to clarify that
if you came looking for the SSTV-PAL from the 73 article these are at
the bottom of the list on this site.
Note 2:Since the
time the article on this software was sent to the magazine, things
changed regarding this download, so I searched and found this site
where you may download the DXPSK software. The author has a lot of
info on the web about other software that looks equally impressive
but, at the moment, this excellent PSK package is a tough find. Good
luck.
Note 3: Fun stuff! You will, until further
notice, need to do a little hacking to find the download file for
Stream. It is not difficult, but the only way I could find it is as
follows. Place your cursor at the end of the URL in your browser and
remove the word "help.htm" at the end of the address. Then
hit enter. You will get a directory page and the "streamsetup086.exe"
file is the one to download. "They" will probably have
something easier in the near future.
I
often have need for call lookup, so I thought you might enjoy this
little convenience:
